How it looks in use
Vesperquill
A narrow, even textura with straight stems and diamond feet, packed tight like a gothic page.
Vesperquill
About the family
Vesperquill is textura at its most compact. The letters are narrow with straight vertical stems that end in small angled cuts and diamonds, the contrast is medium rather than extreme, and the rhythm across a line is tight and even. The capitals are decorated but readable, with little extra strokes on letters like A and B, and the figures sit neatly in the same narrow width. It comes in Light and Regular, a crisp line and a darker one. It is the look of a gothic manuscript page fitted into modern layouts, good for titles that need a historic weight in very little room.
