Accessibility Statement

WonderFonT is for everyone who works with type, including people who use assistive technology. Forest Techno, LLC, which operates wonderfont.art, is committed to making the store, the account area and the font tester usable by as many people as possible.

1. Our standard

We build WonderFonT to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, published by the W3C. This level also covers WCAG 2.0 AA, on which the Israeli Standard IS 5568 and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013, are based.

2. What we have done

• The whole site works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator and a "Skip to content" link on every page.
• Pages use proper headings, landmarks and labels so screen readers can navigate them.
• Hebrew pages are marked right to left and English pages left to right, so screen readers use the correct language and direction.
• Text and interface colors meet WCAG AA contrast ratios.
• Dialogs keep focus inside while open and return it when closed. Escape closes them.
• Buttons and links have touch targets of at least 44 by 44 pixels.
• Animations stop when your system asks for reduced motion, and every moving section has a pause control.
• Layouts adapt to screens from 320 pixels wide without horizontal scrolling, and text can be enlarged with browser zoom.
• Sign-in uses a one-time email link, so there is no password to remember and no puzzle to solve.
• Every new purchase has one checkbox right above the pay button, "I agree to the license terms and the terms of use", with links to both: an ordinary checkbox with a written label that works with the keyboard and screen readers. If it is not ticked, a written message appears next to it and focus moves to it, and the server shows the same message even without JavaScript. Changes to an existing license have a notice above the button instead.

3. Accessibility settings on the site

Every page has a round accessibility button in the corner of the screen (the figure icon) that opens a settings panel. You can:

• make the text larger (two steps);
• switch to high contrast (black on white);
• underline every link;
• switch the whole interface to a plain, readable font;
• add more space between lines, words and letters;
• show a thick outline around whatever has focus;
• make the mouse pointer bigger;
• stop animations.

Your choices are saved in your browser and apply to every page until you change them. The panel uses the browser's own controls, so it works with screen readers and the keyboard. We do not use a third-party accessibility plugin and we send nobody data about how you use the panel. The readable font changes the interface, not the font specimens, because a specimen is the product itself. These settings do not replace your own assistive technology; they are there to help.

4. Known limitations

We test the site regularly, but some parts may not yet be fully accessible:

• Font specimens and the tester. Specimens show fonts as designed, including decorative display fonts that some people may find hard to read. The name of every font and the sample text are always also available as plain text.
• Family worlds use colorful illustrations and stickers. The information they carry is also written on the page as text.
• Legal documents are published in English only.
• Payment pages are provided by Stripe. Stripe maintains its own accessibility program, but those pages are outside our direct control.
• Font files you download are accessible as the font format allows. Accessibility of documents you create with them depends on the software you use.

5. Tell us about a barrier

If something on WonderFonT is hard to use, or you need information in another format, please tell us. We aim to reply within 5 business days.

WonderFonT is an online service only. We have no office or premises open to the public.

6. How we checked

This statement is based on our own review of the site against WCAG 2.2 AA: keyboard navigation, focus order, contrast measurements, automated checks, and layout checks at widths of 320, 390, 768, 1024 and 1440 pixels in Hebrew and English. Automated checks alone do not prove conformance, so we also review pages by hand, and we review the site again after major changes.
