About the family
Longkeep is a monospace that gives every letter a very wide cell. The i and l carry long flat bars to fill their space, the m and w finally have room to breathe, and the round letters become wide rounded rectangles. Strokes are even, terminals are cut square and there are no serifs. The a and g are single-storey, which keeps the lowercase simple and flat. It comes in Light, Regular, Medium, Bold and Black. It looks technical and calm, like a readout on a very tidy machine, and it makes short words look important.
