About the family
Tanbarkbroad is wide and low contrast, with serifs forked like a fishtail and small spurs on the curves. Strokes are nearly even, so the words look like they were printed from blocks of wood on a hand press. Some figures carry little stencil like breaks that add grit. Two weights, both heavy. The width makes it great for a banner or a storefront and awkward in narrow columns. It is readable at a headline size and gets clumsy below it.
