How it looks in use
Loupeblade
A very narrow grotesque with heavy stems and pinched thin joins, built for tall headlines.
Loupeblade
About the family
Loupeblade takes a Swiss-style grotesque and squeezes it hard. The letters are tall and narrow, the n about half as wide as it is high, and the stems are heavy while the shoulders and crossbars thin out where they meet. Terminals stay flat and level. The effect is a crisp, dressy column of type that can stack a long headline into a narrow space. Light, Regular and Medium go from elegant to punchy without ever getting wider, so a headline and its kicker can share the same slim footprint.
