How it looks in use
Sidingslim
A narrow engineering sans with straight sides, squared curves and flat ends, like lettering on a machine plate.

About the family
Sidingslim is lettering from the factory floor. The letters are tall and narrow with straight sides, the curves are squared off, and every stroke ends flat, so words look stamped rather than written. The weight stays even across each letter, and the lowercase is compact and practical, with a single storey g and short sturdy descenders. The figures are tall and very clear, good for numbers that need to be read at a glance. It comes in Light, Regular, Medium and SemiBold. It is useful, plain spoken and slightly tough, the way good tools are.
