About the family
Chirrupblade is a narrow brush script with real contrast: the downstrokes are thick wet pulls and the upstrokes are thin dry flicks. Letters are tall slim ovals, they lean a little, and the baseline hops up and down. None of the letters join, so words stay tidy when you kern or edit them. It feels like a hand lettered party sign or a boutique label. Three weights. It is lovely for a few words and hard work for anything longer, because the thin strokes disappear at small sizes.
