Copplinbroad
About the family
Copplinbroad is a wide roman with an old book about it. The capitals are broad and stately, the bowls are round and open, and the lowercase has a relaxed spread that makes each word take up a little more room than you expect. The f dips below the line like old metal type, and the numbers and punctuation switch to a sloped pen style, so dates and ampersands arrive with a flourish. Six weights run from a fine Light to a dark, firm Black. It reads well in a heading or a short passage and looks good on paper that costs a bit more than usual.
