A wide, round uncial with nearly even strokes, calm and roomy from Regular all the way to Black.

About the family
Scrivenbroad takes the round book hand of old manuscripts and gives it plenty of room. The letters are wide and generous, the strokes are close to even, and the forms are uncial: a round open a, a low wide m made of soft arches, a round e, capitals that are bigger versions of the same round shapes. The effect is calm and a little ceremonial, like lettering on a stone marker in a green field. Five weights run from Regular to Black, and the heavy end turns it into a proper headline face with real presence. It is friendly, easy to read and hard to forget.
