How it looks in use
Pennonwick
A narrow, sturdy humanist sans with nearly even strokes, a slightly squared feel and a big x-height.

About the family
Pennonwick is a narrow workhorse. The strokes are close to even, the ends are cut with a small slant, and the round letters lean toward soft rectangles, which gives a line of text a firm, upright rhythm. The x-height is tall and the counters stay open, so it keeps its clarity when space is tight. Light and Regular fit captions and long lists, Medium and SemiBold work for signs and labels, and Black is dense and punchy. It feels like good transit signage: plain, useful and quietly confident.
