About the family
Giltbroad is a very wide sans that sits low and long on the line. Every stroke is drawn as a fat outline with a white groove running down its middle, following the curves and stopping just short of the ends, so the letters look pinstriped. Bowls are round and generous, terminals are flat, and there are no serifs to slow it down. It comes in a single Regular weight, which is all it needs: a word in Giltbroad already looks like it belongs on the side of a car or across the top of a scoreboard.
