How it looks in use
Stodgybroad
A wide, fat poster letter with sturdy little slab serifs, built to spread one loud word across the whole sheet.

About the family
Stodgybroad is a fat face stretched out sideways. The stems are enormous, the counters are small, and the letters spread wide across the line. The thin strokes and serifs are chunky little slabs rather than hairlines, so nothing looks fragile and the letters hold up when printed rough. The lowercase has a friendly bounce, with a big round g and a ball on the r. It comes in a single weight, and that weight is plenty. Use it for a short announcement that needs to be read from the other side of a field.
