About the family
Parchenbroad is an upright serif with the bones of pen writing. Strokes are thin where the pen turned and thick where it pressed, serifs are small and angled, and the letters are a little wider than usual, which gives lines an open, easy pace. The figures and the ampersand are italic, a nice surprise in a heading. Six weights, from a fine Light to a heavy Black. It holds up in a short passage of text as well as in a title, so it can carry a book cover, a menu and the introduction inside.
