About the family
Yondrogate is the plain spoken member of the saloon family. The strokes are nearly even all the way round, the slab serifs are heavy squares, and each stem has a small spur poking out at mid height, like the rivet on a pair of work jeans. The letters are fairly narrow with small counters, so the capitals carry the show and a line of them looks like a row of fence posts. The lowercase follows the same rules and sits tight to the caps. Light, Regular and Medium get heavier without losing the spurs. It is at home on anything that should look built to last.
