How it looks in use
Hearthslim
A narrow humanist sans with real thick and thin in its strokes, written rather than drawn.
Hearthslim
About the family
Hearthslim is a sans serif with a pen hiding behind it. The letters are clearly condensed and have no serifs at all, but the strokes swell and thin the way a broad nib would, with the weight sitting on the diagonal. The o is an upright oval that is heavier on its sides, the M is tall and narrow, and the lowercase keeps open shapes that stay clear in a tight column. The capitals are tall and slightly flared at the ends. Regular, Medium and SemiBold keep the same calligraphic rhythm. It sits beside Pennonthorn as the plainer, more everyday cousin, the one you can set a whole subtitle in.
