About the family
Vineletfair is a high contrast display face in the classic didone way: heavy vertical strokes, hairline horizontals, thin flat serifs and ball ends. Inside each thick stroke there is a white engraved pattern of small leaves and curls, the kind of detail you see on old banknotes and silverware. From a distance it reads as a smart black serif; move closer and the decoration appears. The proportions are generous and the lowercase keeps the ornament too. Light, Regular and Medium are included, and the Medium shows the engraving best.
