How it looks in use
Loupewick
A calm neo-grotesque in six weights, with just enough stroke contrast to feel warm.
Loupewick
About the family
Loupewick is a neo-grotesque sans of normal width, the kind of type that does its job without asking for attention. Apertures are fairly closed, terminals are cut flat, the a has two storeys and the G has a firm spur. Look closely and the strokes thin slightly where curves join the stems, which keeps it from feeling cold. There are six weights, from Light to Black, and they step evenly, so one family can handle a whole project: body text in Regular, subheads in SemiBold, a big poster word in Black.
