About the family
Vigrelbroad takes the round southern style of blackletter and gives it plenty of room. Bowls stay curved instead of breaking into angles, the feet are cut flat, and the pen swings from thick to thin at a gentle slant. The capitals carry the most charm: an M that curls in like a scroll, a wide open G, an A with a pointed top. The lowercase is broad and friendly, with a single-storey g and a y that sweeps back to the left. Six weights run from a fine Light to a heavy Black that looks painted with a loaded brush. Wide and warm, it fills a line without shouting.
