An old roman stretched wide, with a slanted bar on the e, tall ascenders and hairlines thin enough to catch the light.

About the family
Vendrobroad takes the very first roman letters, the ones with a slanted bar across the e and the stress tipped at an angle like a pen held in the hand, and lets them spread out. The capitals are broad and calm, the lowercase sits small under tall ascenders, and the g, p, q and y finish in long curling tails. Thick strokes stay sturdy while the thin ones drop to hairlines, so a word set large has a bit of sparkle to it. Five weights run from Regular to Black, and Black turns the whole thing into something you could carve over a library door.
