About the family
Thudbycrier is a broad serif with heavy stems and fine hairline serifs, the kind of face you would expect on a bank note or a grand shop front. Then it has been printed with a rubber stamp that is running dry. Every stroke is bitten by small white voids and the edges are speckled where the pad pressed unevenly. The numbers are round and fat, the caps are wide and stately, and the lowercase keeps the same elegant shape underneath the wear. Five weights run from Light to Bold. It gives luxury a worn, lived-in feel.
