How it looks in use
Tattingfair
Tall deco capitals with thick stitched stems and thread-thin hairlines. Glamour, done with a needle.
Tattingfair
About the family
Tattingfair looks like a deco poster that was embroidered instead of printed. The stems are heavy satin bands with a fine stitched texture along their edges, and the thin strokes are single threads, so the contrast is steep. The capitals are elegant and a little theatrical, the round letters like O and Q are full circles, and the figures are wide and bold. Six weights run from Light to Black, and the heavier ones feel like thicker thread on the same pattern. It suits anything with a dress code. Keep it big so the stitches show.
