    About the family

Bolbarwyn is what you get when you letter with a compass and a ruler and refuse to cheat. The o is a true circle, the a is that circle with a bar leaning on it, the b and d and p and q are the same circle with a stem in a different place. Capitals are wide and open, with a pointed M and an N that stands up straight. There is a touch of contrast so it does not look like wire, but the construction stays honest. Light, Regular, Medium, SemiBold and Black run from airy to properly heavy, and the Black still keeps its round counters wide open.
