    About the family

Tanbarkfair is wide, heavy and decorated. The stems are thick and dark, the serifs curl and fork, the bowls bulge, and the lowercase has the same showy build as the capitals. Even the Light is bold. It is the kind of lettering painted above a big top or printed on a Victorian handbill. Two weights, both loud. Wide letters mean only a few words fit on a line, which is fine, because a few words is all it should say. Keep it large and give it room.
