How it looks in use
Tachragate
An even techno sans with octagonal bowls, square cut ends and a tall x-height.
Tachragate
About the family
Tachragate replaces every curve with a hard 45 degree cut. The O becomes an octagonal ring, the S a zigzag of straight segments, and the stroke ends are sliced off square. The strokes stay even, the x-height is tall, the ascenders are short and the counters stay open and angular. It comes in Light, Regular, Medium and Black, with a real jump from Medium to Black for when a heading needs to hit hard. It reads like a control panel or the label on a circuit board, clean and a bit robotic.
