Stodgyslim
A narrow fat face with the thin strokes fattened up, so each letter is a tall column of ink with slivers of white.

About the family
Stodgyslim takes the old poster fat face and makes it tall and narrow, then thickens the thin strokes until nearly everything is the same heavy weight. What is left of the white is a set of narrow slots inside the letters, which gives each word a dense, striped look from a distance. The serifs are short, flat slabs, and the figures are round and chunky. There is one weight, Light in name only, and it is dark. It fits a lot of loud words onto a narrow space and still reads from the far side of the street.
