How it looks in use
Swoonwell
A gentle slanted roundhand in a near even pen, with oval bowls and every letter kept apart.
Swoonwell
About the family
Swoonwell is a roundhand drawn with a nearly even pen. You get the oval bowls, the steady slant and the delicate ascender loops of a copybook script, but the strokes stay close to monoline and the ends are soft and rounded. Every letter stands on its own with no joins, which keeps it clear and easy to set. It comes in Light, Regular, Medium and SemiBold. Light looks like careful handwriting in pencil, SemiBold like a confident signature on a birthday card. It is polite, neat and a little nostalgic.
