Stetbroad
A wide, sturdy slab serif with square serifs and near even strokes, built for bold headlines.

About the family
Stetbroad is a wide slab serif with almost no difference between thick and thin. The serifs are square blocks with no brackets, the bowls have flattish sides, and the x-height is big, so it reads clearly from across the street. It has the steady, practical feel of a sports page or a tabloid front page, with a dash of college athletics in the square G and R. The Light is already fairly solid and the Regular is properly heavy. Give it a short line with plenty of air around it and it will hold the whole page.
