Spurslim
A tall western slab with splayed feet and a notch at the waist, straight off a frontier handbill.

About the family
Spurslim is a condensed western slab, the kind of letter that used to shout from a wooden storefront. The letters are tall and narrow, and the serifs are deep slabs that spread outward at their ends like boots planted in the dust. Many capitals carry a small notch or spur halfway up the stem, which gives the whole alphabet that frontier swagger. The lowercase follows along with the same heavy feet, and the figures are stout and easy to read from across the street. Light and Regular sit close together, both sturdy enough for a headline. It fits long names in narrow spaces and still looks like it rode into town.
