    About the family

Sateenfair takes the modern face and makes it practical. The stress is clearly vertical and the serifs are flat and unbracketed, but the thin strokes are sturdy pen lines instead of razor hairlines, so they hold up in a paragraph. The bowls are round and even, the a, c, f and y finish in small ball terminals, and the proportions are normal width, neither squeezed nor stretched. There are five weights from Light to Bold. Light is elegant in a large pull quote, Regular and Medium are comfortable for body text, and Bold gives the headlines some weight. It is formal without being fussy.
