How it looks in use
Ronnachbroad
A wide uncial with the broad-pen rhythm intact: deep round bowls, a bowed d and short, sturdy extenders.
Ronnachbroad
About the family
Ronnachbroad is an uncial hand spread out wide. The letters are round and generous, the bowls are deep and open, the a is a tall teardrop shape and the d bows its back to the left. The broad pen shows in a moderate thick-thin swing, and the ascenders and descenders stay short and sturdy, so lines sit close together without clashing. Five weights run from Light to Bold. Light is airy and graceful, Bold is solid enough to carve over a doorway. It gives a title the feeling of an old tale being told slowly.
