How it looks in use
Rivetergate
Poster lettering from a factory wall. Blunt bars, square corners and not a soft curve in sight.
Rivetergate
About the family
Rivetergate is built like a poster from a factory wall. The strokes are blunt bars of one even weight, curves are trimmed down to squared corners, and the counters come out as little rectangles. The R kicks out a straight angled leg, the Q hangs a short diagonal tail below the line, and the lowercase follows the same flat-topped, cut-off logic, so the whole alphabet looks machined rather than drawn. Three weights, Light to Medium, are all heavy enough to hold a wall. It likes big sizes, capitals and short commands. Line it up tight in one color and it does most of the design work on its own.
