How it looks in use
Quillbroad
A graceful calligraphic serif with low contrast, long ascenders, a loopy g and slanted numbers.

About the family
Quillbroad reads like a very good book set by someone who also writes calligraphy. The capitals are classical and open, and the lowercase has long ascenders with flag tops, a g with a round low loop and a relaxed y that swings under the line. Contrast stays low, so the strokes feel sturdy and warm rather than sharp. The numbers lean forward like an italic, a nice surprise next to upright words. Light, Regular, Medium and SemiBold give you everything from a delicate subtitle to a solid headline. It is calm, literary and quietly handmade.
