    About the family

Proemslim is an oldstyle serif that has been made narrow without losing its bookish warmth. The bowls are compressed into upright ovals, the stress leans diagonally the way a broad pen would put it, and the head serifs slope gently. The x-height is small and the ascenders are long, so a paragraph has that classic airy look while still fitting a lot of words per line. Contrast is moderate. Five weights run from Light to Bold, and the heavier ones make fine narrow headlines. It is a good choice when a column is thin and the text is long.
