Placketbroad
A wide, sturdy sans made of flat bands, each corner marked by a thin crease line where the band folds.

About the family
Placketbroad is the folded look spread out wide. The letters sit low and broad, with flat straight bands for strokes and clipped corners where a round letter would normally curve, so the O becomes a wide octagon. Look closer and every corner carries a thin diagonal line cutting through the band, the mark of a fold, and the band gets a touch slimmer across it. It comes in Light and Regular, and both have a sporty, engineered stance that still looks like it was made on a kitchen table with a bone folder. It fills a banner nicely and keeps short words looking busy in a good way.
