About the family
Parchenmere writes like someone with good penmanship and no hurry. The strokes are nearly even, so the letters feel written with a smooth marker rather than a sharp nib, but the shapes are pure calligraphy: flag tops on the ascenders, a y with a curling tail, a looping g and narrow oval bowls. The capitals are upright and friendly, and the numbers lean forward. Light through Bold keep the same easy mood, and Bold is sturdy enough for a sign on the street. It makes plain text sound personal without being fussy.
