Klakkobroad
A wide, high contrast typewriter face with fat stems and thin blade serifs, lounging in roomy cells.

About the family
Klakkobroad stretches an old typewriter letter out wide and gives it a flair for drama. The stems are fat, the crossbars and slab serifs are thin blades, and the round letters open into broad ovals, so the thick-thin contrast feels bold and a little theatrical. The a is double-storey and the lowercase keeps the plain, practical shapes of an office machine. Light, Regular and Medium are included. Wide letters take room, so it is happiest in short lines: a title, a label, a heading on a page of plain text.
