How it looks in use
Muntindot
A narrow display face snapped to a coarse grid of squares, curves rebuilt as little steps.

About the family
Muntindot was drawn on graph paper and never left it. Every stroke snaps to a coarse grid, the verticals are two units thick and the horizontals one, corners are perfectly square, and where a curve would go you get a small staircase instead. The letters are narrow and built from the same few parts, so a line of text has a steady, machine-made rhythm. There are four weights: Light, Regular, Medium and SemiBold. It feels like an old scoreboard or a handheld game, and it fits a lot of characters into a small space.
