How it looks in use
Oatcakebroad
Wide, squashy, near even blobs. Every letter looks like a cushion somebody sat on.

About the family
Oatcakebroad is the widest of the blob letters here. The stroke is almost one weight, the ends are full round domes, and the counters are squeezed down to small slots, so the whole word reads as one soft, heavy band. It is very friendly and very loud. Wide letters eat space fast, so plan on short words and big sizes. It does not suit small print, legal text or anything that needs to be read quickly at a distance of more than a few words.
