    About the family

Gothmarslim keeps the fraktur skeleton, the broken bowls, the forked ascenders, the pointed feet, but draws it with a stroke that hardly changes thickness. The result is a narrow blackletter that feels more like a stencil or a carved sign than a pen, and it is easier to read than most of its relatives. Everything stands straight up and close together. Light, Regular and Medium add weight evenly, with Medium giving the densest texture. It works when you want the old world mood but also want someone to actually read the words, which is most of the time.
