How it looks in use
Gothmargate
A readable modern fraktur with a softened pen rhythm, sharp diamond feet and firm fine connecting lines.
Gothmargate
About the family
Gothmargate is the easygoing member of the fraktur crowd. It keeps the broad pen feel, thick downstrokes and thin connecting strokes, but the thin parts are firm enough to hold up at smaller sizes. Each bowl has the classic split personality, curved on one side and broken into angles on the other, and the stems stand on pointed diamond feet. The capitals are ornate without getting lost in loops. There are two weights, Light and Regular, and they sit close together. Use it for headings that want a bit of ceremony and a line or two of text that still needs to be read.
