How it looks in use
Fluffelthorn
A rounded sans with a real thick and thin swing, heavy stems against slim bars, every end finished like piped icing.
Fluffelthorn
About the family
Fluffelthorn looks like a sans serif that went to pastry school. The stems are heavy, the horizontals are thin, and each stroke ends in a soft rounded cap, as if piped from a bag. The bowls are plump ovals, the a is double storey, and a few letters lean into their own little flourishes, like the curling tails on g and j. It comes in Light, Regular and Medium. The contrast gives it a lively rhythm on a page, and the round ends keep it gentle, so it can dress up a menu without taking itself too seriously.
