How it looks in use
Squovalbroad
A wide sans where every round letter is a squircle, like the screen of an old television.

About the family
Squovalbroad is a wide sans built on the superellipse, a shape halfway between a rectangle and a circle. The O bulges toward its corners like an old television screen, bowls are large and squared, and terminals are cut flat. Stems are firm and horizontals slightly lighter, so it keeps a medium contrast that gives it some life. Six weights run from a thin, airy Light to a very heavy Black, and the heavy end feels ready for a racing livery. It sits right between retro sci-fi and a modern gadget.
