How it looks in use
Elderquill
A warm oldstyle text serif with an inclined axis, cupped serifs and a small-eyed e.
Elderquill
About the family
Elderquill is a text serif in the oldstyle tradition. The axis leans, the serifs are bracketed and slightly cupped, the head serifs on the lowercase are angled, and the e has a small eye with an oblique bar. The ascenders rise only a touch above the capitals, which keeps lines of text even and quiet. It comes in Light, Regular, Medium, SemiBold and Black. The middle weights are made for pages and pages of reading, Light is graceful for large text, and Black is a warm, heavy surprise for titles. It feels like a well-worn favourite book.
