About the family
Doodrelthorn is an elegant high contrast roman made with a pencil instead of a press. The thick stems are filled with tight diagonal hatching, and the thin strokes and serifs are single fine lines, so the contrast comes from how much work went into each part. The capitals are stately, the lowercase is crisp, and the texture changes from letter to letter the way real drawing does. The figures are especially bold and handsome. It comes in Light and Regular. Use it large, where the hatching can be seen, and it gives a headline the feel of a fashion illustration or a portrait study.
