How it looks in use
Clinkerfell
A plain, even-stroked signage sans with squared-off curves, built like a door sign in a factory corridor.

About the family
Clinkerfell does what factory signs do: it tells you where things are and gets out of the way. The strokes stay nearly the same weight all round, curves are short quarter-rounds bolted onto straight bars, and the counters open wide with a square jaw. Terminals end flat, the a is a sturdy double-storey, and the numbers are compact and easy to read at a distance. Light, Regular and Medium keep the same frame, so you can run labels, directions and headings from one family. It is not trying to be charming, and that is the charm.
