About the family
Shadrelgate is a plain, sturdy sans with a trick. Every letter carries a solid shadow offset down and to the right, and a thin sliver of white keeps the two apart, so the words seem to lift off the page. The letters themselves are simple: round bowls, flat ends, geometric capitals, with a single-storey a. The shadow follows every curve and counter, even on punctuation and numbers. Light and Regular are both included, with Regular giving the shadow more to stand on. It has the cheerful pop of a shop window sign, and it works best big and in short bursts.
