About the family
Copplinwick is a pointed pen hand with its letters left unjoined. The slant is steady, the downstrokes swell a little and the upstrokes stay as fine pen lines, so it looks written rather than engraved. Ascenders carry small loops, the f and g drop long tails, and each capital gets one modest curl and no more. Because the letters stand apart, words can be spaced like type instead of hoping the joins line up. Six weights run from a thin nib to a full, heavy Black that still keeps its fine lines. It suits a name, a line or a short note far better than a paragraph.
