How it looks in use
Cellquill
A narrow typewriter face. Thin slab serifs, one width for every letter and plenty of air.

About the family
Cellquill looks like a narrow carriage typewriter. Every letter sits in the same slim slot, the round ones become tall ovals, and thin flat slab serifs finish each stem. Because the slot is fixed, letters float with lots of space between them, which gives any line a slow, deliberate, typed-by-hand feel. The three weights go from a light ribbon to a fresh black ribbon. It is good for notes, captions, scripts and anything that should look filed. The loose rhythm is tiring over long text, and it will not save space the way a normal condensed face would.
