Canonrymere
A broad, dark fraktur. Broken curves, sharp diamonds and a lot of black on the page.

About the family
Canonrymere is a wide fraktur with strong broad-nib contrast. Curves break into straight segments and sharp points, stems finish in diamonds, and the capitals are big, curly and theatrical. Because it is wide rather than squeezed, words read more easily than in a narrow textura, but the colour on the page is very dark. The three weights sit close together, so the choice is subtle. Use it for a name, a masthead or a single loud line. Anything longer becomes a wall of ink, and the curly capitals get hard to recognise in all caps.
