About the family
Broadspur is a heavy western slab with curly split serifs at the top and bottom of every stem. The lowercase is stocky and generously spaced, while the figures are stretched to extreme width, so a date or a price becomes its own banner. Contrast is moderate, so it stays solid rather than spiky. Four weights move from bold to very bold, there is no quiet setting here. It wants short words, big sizes and a lot of room around it. Paragraphs are out of the question, and mixing lowercase with those wide numbers takes some care.
